A pattern from 1975 for a classically cut shirt made in a stretch fabric, and a rarity because of its extensive size range (30 inch to 42 inch bust) and because of being multisized - most unusual in the seventies. Some jersey I had was too small so I used a soft woven cotton instead, which has been successful. The pattern is printed on both sides of the paper so you have to trace your own tissue. The instructions were clear but not particularly sensible - no problem because I've made so many shirts. Other than cutting the collar smaller than the original because it was too big, I made no design changes. There are no darts, although curved side seams give the shirt some shape. The fabric of my second version is a cotton jersey purchased from Fashion Fabrics Club.
