I have made this pattern for a loose-fitting camp shirt in a Hawaiian "hula girl" print. Although the look of this pattern is dated - with its dropped shoulders and straight up-and-down cut - it is still useful for those who like camp shirts. It is very easy to make and can be run up quickly and easily.
Now I have made a second version in celery-striped cotton seersucker from Tessuti. I added extra ease to the back - perhaps too much - and have had to add vertical darts in the back to reduce billowing. Otherwise the shirt is a good fit, and I'm looking forward to wearing it in hot conditions.
