This pattern from 1997 is a camp shirt or blouse with dropped shoulders. It is loose-fitting in the armholes and shoulders but fitted in the body; there are vertical darts in the front and back, and curved side seams and a curved hem.
It fits well enough -- after letting out the side seams below the waist, and the darts to allow more ease in the hip -- but on the whole I prefer McCalls 5052 as a campshirt pattern.
My fabric is a blue-grey poplin from Hawaiian Fabric (www.hawaiianfabric.com). Its copyright date is 2004, and it has been in my stash for maybe as much as eight years.
