This pattern for a loose-fitting, collarless shirt was published in 1978. I have made it in a Liberty lawn called Richard Cooper, a stylized floral design.
The pattern has one size per tissue, as was common in those days, so I was lucky to find my size.
I do not like the finished shirt as much as I would wish too. The sleeves are too long and too full, and the front neck slit appears to be on an angle rather than straight. Nevertheless I will keep it - for a while at least.
