Loes Hinse Studio's Sarong Skirt is a softly draping skirt inspired by a sarong. This new offering from Loes Hinse is sold as a PDF download and contains instructions and measurements rather than pattern pieces. You could measure and mark your fabric directly, but I chose to trace a tissue and use that. I made no changes other than adding on-seam pockets.
Measurements are given only in imperial units so the metric user has to begin by converting all measurements, a tedious chore that increases the possibility of user error associated with the project.
My fabric is a wonderfully wild tropical print rayon from Hawaiian Fabric. The finished garment is shorter than expected and looks much more like a skirt than a sarong, which is disappointing. Nevertheless it's a wearable summer garment.
