VIEW A View A of this pattern has three pleats falling from a yoke. I shortened view A by about 5cm and also lined it. The lining is attached to the upper edge of the yoke. After considering whether to line the bottom half only and use the skirt tissue to cut out the lining, I decided to line the whole skirt from the waist. For a lining template I used the tissue of this pattern's view B.
The lining is narrower than the skirt, which restricted movement somewhat and was a nuisance. Later I made slits in the side seams of the lining to make movement easier.
VIEW C View C of this pattern is a long, A-line skirt with an elastic waist. My version is made in a Hawaiian print rayon from Smile Dog on eBay. I made the original pattern length without alteration. The result is satisfactory and I am really pleased with it.
