This pattern from 2009 is for simple, pull-on pants with an elasticized waist and self-fabric drawstring ties with or without elastic cuffs at the ankles. I made view C: full-length pants with cuffs, but omitted the cuffs as the pants seemed short and cuffs would have shortened them further.
The pants lack pockets so I added some as pants without pockets are impractical.
Generally the pants are a good fit, although I would consider increasing both the rise and the leg length by about 2cm next time.
My fabric is Liberty of London's Mark in brown; purchased online from Shaukat in London.
For my second version, to achieve the longer and softly draping look of view D (pictured in black) I lengthened both the legs and the rise by 2cm at the horizontal extension lines on the pattern tissue. Otherwise I made the pants the same as before: with no fly; a drawstring instead of elastic at the waist; and on-seam pockets.
Next time - if there is a next time - I would repeat those changes but also remove some fullness from the waist and thigh.
