Kwik Sew 3553

Kwik Sew 3553 is a nice, straightforward pattern for classically cut pyjamas. The cut is less full than others I have made recently, such as McCalls 5114 (OOP; from 1990), so it needs slightly less fabric. I have made the pants of view A, cutting a size larger than my official size and taking a slightly wider seam allowance. I also added 2cm to the rise, and the result is a good fit. I have also added another 1cm to the upper edge as the allowance of 2cm for the elastic channel and turnunder is minimal.
The fabric is a tropical print cotton from Hawaiian Fabric Shop < http://www.hawaiianfabricshop.com >, which has been in my stash for a couple of years.
For my second version of these pants I used a 2m piece of Liberty of London's lawn in a design called Aspinal.
