Not Just Barcelona

After seeing that New York got 30 inches of snow in one day, I decided to go somewhere to defrost my camera before winter ends. The destination was easy to decide, as I had always wanted to revisit the beautiful Barcelona, a city with so much to offer for architecture photography.

Besides Barcelona, I also made a quick stop at a few other towns and cities. Each place has its own charm and character. It was unusally cold and windy for Spain, but the kind-hearted Spanish people I met made me feel warm. From the hotel staff to the people I came across in the streets, they were all amiable. A few times when I asked for direction, they would answer me with detailed information, including all the options I could have; and what I would see if I took which street, etc. They would rather miss their light to cross the street to make sure I wouldn't miss the landmarks of their hometowns they're so proud of.

My very sincere thanks go to Jose Antonio, without whose info and guidance I couldn't have come home with so many photos after a week's stay. His photos can be viewed at: https://pbase.com/joseantonio
