Turkish Wonders

The last journey I had in 2010 turned out to be the most memorable one. Besides the photo opportunities for architecture, landscape, ruins and culture, the tour itself was fantastic. It was a bus full of nice people including the one who was driving it. We had a very acknowledgeable and humorous guide Serdar, with whom there was never a dull moment. There were 41 of us in the group who came from different states and cities, but unfortunately now there are only 40.

We had just begun to develope the friendship as a group, there came the sad and shocking news that Adam, one of our youngest tour mates, who was friendly, pleasant, helpful and kind-hearted besides good looking, and definitely the most energetic one among us, suddenly passed away only a few weeks after this trip at the age of 29. May he rest in peace.

Adam will be sorely missed, and will forever be part of our fond memory of Turkey.

Looking at your photos brings me back to this magnificent place. It made me see Turkey in a very different light as well. It was truly one of my most memorable vacations ever. So glad to have made this tour with you together with our fun-loving group. Thanks for capturing the beauty of Turkey and most of all thanks for sharing:)

Denise, appreciate your fantastic and extensive pictures of Turkey. Very interesting pictures # 05, 13, 16 - Land of Fairy Chimneys, # 05 is quite bizarre, but very interesting. I like # 05 of Kaymakli too, looks like imprints from human shoes. You always have a good feeling about angles and spots. Well done and thanks for doing such a great job. Will always look at your refreshing page every time !

Your photos depict a totally different place to what I imagined about Turkey, now I have a much better idea what the country is all about, thanks. I particularly enjoy the Konya night scene, there is a sense of spiritual presence in your photographs, well done!

Denise, happen to visit your page and saw the fantastic shots you made. I will make a point to visit your page more often. I think by doing this I get to know various places visualized by your excellent photos. I love Ephesus, especially after viewing your visual description of the region. Without being there myself upto now, I will plan for a near-future visit of this region. I hope to see more visual reports of the countries that you went and hopefully there are more new places to come and to see. I appreciate very much your talented work, I hope to see more in the near future. Many thanks and wish you a harmonious seasonal festivities and a successful 2011 !

Denise, as usual, you did a wonderful job showing the surroundings of the places you went, your photos are so sharp and one really gets the impression being there personally. I was in Istanbul a couple of years ago but could not cover all the places. I missed the Archeological Musuem, you made a number of interesting shots and further you produced some shots from a different angle as I did in the past, very interesting and I must have missed a lot of corners that you took. Looking forward to see your future exploration, well done, keep on please.
