Switzerland

There isn't another nation more unique than Switzerland. Besides it has been neutral, and is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, it's also the only country where there are 4 official languages including Romansh (or Rumantsch).

The first time I went to Switzerland, was 2002, before I migrated to digital photography. I was with a tour spending a whole week there. In the past 3 years I was there 4 more times by myself, but unfortunately each trip was too short - twice I even made a special trip there just for a weekend and then returned to the U.S.

Ms. Lee, I claim Don Lo as a friend of mine. Through his sharing of his emails I got to view your photos of Switzerland, the country my grandfather came from. I have always been proud to claim Swiss heritage along with being American. Thank you for your sharing of pictures as I probably will never see it for myself. I really am envious of you method of travel. Pick a small town or city and then ride the train there to explore it. This would be my preferred method of seeing Switzerland and other places too. Keep the rails singing their special song.

As always, fabulous pictures. I was especially excited to see your Lugano photos, since I'll be there the end of this month. I will be stopping there for a day on my way to Lake Maggiore, Italy. Hope all is well Denise. Thanks for sharing!

Denise, thanks for sharing your travel experiences. Love the pictures, beautifully taken. Reminded me of the trip to Oberammergau where we visited Einsiedeln and Lucerne. Now, I can say I've seen more of Switzerland vicariously, thanks to your beautiful photography. Hope all's well with you. Margaret & Bob

Just happen to browse through Pbase and found your photo collections. Breathless and amazing collections. I went more into details in the Swiss Gallery. Fantastic, a compressed overview of the most beautiful regions and cities in Switzerland. Your photos gives such an impression (beautifully taken) showing romantic towns (e.g. Rheinfelden, Lausanne, etc.) and showing the beautiful mountainous environments of Switzerland. The photos encourages you to visit that country if you have never been there and providing for a very good insight. Fabulous photos, I will browse more into your gallery to see other countries and cities and your excellent contribution. Well done !
