I went to Scotland about two months before their Election Day, the day to decide in a peaceful way if Scotland should become independent or still remain in the U.K.. While sadly looking at the ruins of castles being destroyed during various wars between the English and the Scots, and the statues of the Scottish heroes who bravely fought for their country, I couldn't help wondering what they would have thought, if they had known this election might happen one day.
