Kyoto is famous for the beauty of its changing leaves. Indeed, we find the combination of the city's hundreds of ancient temples and the autumn colours truly breathtaking. However, an afternoon visit to Shinnyodo Temple showed that the leaves sometimes need to compete for attention.
