Diretta derivazione della "natura morta" in pittura, lo Still life (inteso come espressione del carattere immobile del soggetto rappresentato)
è un inesauribile campo di studio della forma e del colore che, nella nostra epoca, ha acquistato sempre maggiore spazio nel contesto della Fotografia.
Essenzialmente lo Still life si esplica in due momenti creativi ben precisi: 1) la scelta e la disposizione degli oggetti nello spazio,
2) la ripresa, preceduta da un attento studio delle luci e delle ombre.
