Message from Bill Warren 2012: Finally am working less and will post more this year. I do not think I will be able to comment back as much as I did in the past. In 2011 I had my first commercial photography gig that lasted about 2 months. I am pretty well geared up now on a Canon 5D Mark II base with L lenses. Otherwise it is still the same story. So what have I learned so far? The less I think, the more creatively I shoot. It is uncanny how often the first shot is the best one. My eyes hurt easily from computer work and then photowork. Therefore I have to pace myself. I need to start using Photoshop more--but then I would be on the computer more. I should clean the lens more and take better care of my equipment. I have let too many photo moment opportunites pass. I am too timid too often when asking people to let me photograph them. I should always carry a camera. I am better for having joined pBase. I am just beginning to see--more.
