Very strong compositions, with some real gems that I enjoyed viewing. My only nitpick is that at times the colours/lighting in the images turn out a tad too artificial, in some cases, overly saturated; this is obviously personal preference but more realistic would be great! =)

I was reading through the comments below. I agree with most, this is a stunning gallery. Such wonderful colours. What a feast for the eyes! For those who had negative comments on post-editing, they don't realize that an artist uses various tools to bring out the best in his work. If you look at the most popular galleries, some form of post-editing was used. Whether it's subtle or extreme, most of the photographs that everyone raves about have been retouched in some way. I say if the tools are available to you, and they are capable of making a good photograph look even better, use them. There's a difference between an ordinary photographer and a photographer who's an artist. Marcio, you are a true artist! Keep up the good work!

I think they are lovely. As to the comments about post processing with PS, after reading lately about some of the traditional darkroom techniques that photographers like Ansel Adams did, I no longer feel guilty about anything I do in PS.

Gorgeous & inspiring. As for the naysayers who have never seen & experienced such colorful sunrises & sunsets, claiming your pics are just PS tricks, I feel sorry for them. Here in Arizona, I have seen & photographed even wilder colors in the sky. Maybe the heavens only shares its most spectacular displays for the beach & desert.

Don't let some of these discouraging comments below bother you! Who cares if you use post processing or use filters. Photography is ART and Photography is ALL ABOUT exploring and testing boundaries. Hi John, thanks for your comment. Yes, I make adjustments in all my pics to be SIMILAR to the original slide. All scan pics needs adjustments. I always adjust the levels, sharp and saturation in ps. In my digital pics I use the C1pro to make this . Some photos in this gallery can seem surrealistic colors because of the use of the gold'n blue and/or colors graduated filters. Best regards.

No I am afraid that these photos are impossible without the help of Photoshop. I have been taking nature photographs for over twenty years now (some would say with good success) and I have yet to see an hour that is this magical. Beautiful photos but not realistic. js
