Loch Maree, Wester Ross

The capture was timed to catch a fleeting dash of sunlight on the trees in the foreground. The mountain in the distance, Slioch, is not high by worldwide standards at 3219 feet but it dominates the area around Loch Maree.

Yes, you did a fine job catching the sunlight in the trees. The largest bunch, really look sharp. It is that you can see either the tree trunks or pine cones. Such a great landscape image. Well done, John. V.
