I find myself still uploading photos from the Island of Eleuthera. We left Eleuthera more than two weeks ago, but I am that far behind in updating these posting to the Internet. We are finally anchored in an area with reasonable Internet coverage, so I should be able to bring this photojournal up to date pretty soon.

In the Northeast corner of Eleuthera, there is a rugged coastline known as the Devil's Backbone. Sometime back in the 18th century a ship filled with Eleautheran Adventurers, from Europe, shipwrecked on the unforgiving reefs of the Devil's Backbone.
They took up refuge in a nearby cave. For one hundred years thereafter their decendants held church services in that cave. It soon became known as the Preacher's Cave.
