No f**king way, that geezer looks far too dodgy.

I love it. Trademark attitude filling every corner of the photo, and the setting, point of view and action all suggests the seedy underbelly of city life. It's as strong a depiction of the grime of the city as Taxi Driver for me. And the self referencing touches are inspired, they definitely add to the photo in my opinion.

"I will lead and you will follow, down dark and long street"
(somehow I sounds chinese when I type)

Surely one of the best shots I've seen on Pbase! Rockin' perspective, exposure, and mood. Vote.

Everything has been said!
I may add that I'm thinking of some Victorian crime scene, Jack the Ripper for instance...

Too much perspective, Jedi Man. Props.

Hey bud, this is a stunning image!!! Wow! Definitely cinematic, dramatic, and oh
so damn cool! You look like the bad-ass private eye in a dark, and seedy spot.
Definitely a classic. Big Vote!

Ana Carloto O'Shea03-Jan-2007 09:35
Follow??
You are kidding right Mr. O'Shea?? No?? Dunno if one could trust that sneering look on your face.... Crazily cinematic this one!!
The perspective is amazing! I love it and this is no small stuff as when I'm looking at the photo and given this weird angle you'll pulled through I feel as I was just runner over by a car, which come to think of it is something very likely to happen as I always looked the wrong way up there in Your Majesty's Isles. So, I'm there on the ground, seconds after being totally flatenned by a Royal Mail lorry and while I manage to slightly open my eyes and see the clouds moving over the moon, I suddendly focus on this guy standing close to me and signaling me to follow...
Follow?? Follow??? What's wrong with this guy?? Can't he see that I'm dying here?? As I faint trying to dial the emergency number on my cell.. my last thoughts are... F*** I only know the emergency number for portugal!

Congratulations young man, this will surely become a classic of the dark and long scene, which was already alive with so many awe inspiring photos. You're starting out the new year in full force. Though I fear for your health... after all, what's that idea of doing long night exposures with iso 100??? I hope that wasn't a bug you caught from someone...

Sorry for the dark and long comment of mine, but this photo was asking for it.

Awesome - plucked straight out the pages of a comic book. The yellow lights bouncing off the walls and your face create an other-worldly atmosphere... Love the moonlight overhead too. Cracking shot

Superb viewing angle, creates so much drama
Guest 03-Jan-2007 05:21
