Message from Adalberto Tiburzi
Let me think...
an idea for this space...
My favourite photo of the moment? Yes . . . . . . .
Bio
Born: Rome 1944.
First photos in 1957 with his father's camera. First publications some years later at the age of 20.
Regular studies of Architecture, Mathematics and Philosophy (abandoned for recurrent attacks of boredom...).
Advertising (copywriter)
As a photographer, featured in books, newspapers, magazines.
Founder and editor of the satyric pages of a major Italian newspaper (pages now disappeared together with the paper ;-).
Collaborated with Walter Veltroni (Italian centre-left politician) to several electoral campaigns in the late '70s
But what he's really fond of, is the little essay Linear Perspective and Non-Euclidean Geometries, 1963, in which he demonstrated
(contrarily to the common belief of the time) that the dramatic perspective of superwide lenses is not affected by any geometric distortion.
Note:
A true Aquarian, he is a free culture advocate. So his photos are not for sale (also because he estimates them priceless ;-).
About living, he operates on financial markets as private momentum trader specialized in index futures
(by the way, nothing better than a little Art therapy to combat stress, hence a big thankyou to PBase...)

"Je n'aime pas les immeubles. Même lorsque je les photographie, j'ai besoin de les faire danser" (the pun is untranslatable, sorry :-)
"The worst thing an artist can do is to resist something, even death. To resist death, that's the true suicide"
"First live, then photograph. Photographs are the dead leaves of life, les feuilles mortes de la vie "
