Message from Ray Pettit
Hi! I'm Ray and live in Woking, a town about 25 miles south west of London. I've been taking photos since I was a small 7 year old. Since then I've progressed from a second-hand Kodak Brownie that let in the light to a Canon EOS-20D. I occasionally take slides on my Canon EOS-100 and have a simple Fuji 2600Z digicam also and my first DSLR, the Canon EOS-300D. Somewhere, I still have my old Pentax MX and my original SLR, a Practika LTL. I recently acquired an old Kodak 127 from a charity shop!
Its only in the last four years that I've begun to get into the creative side of this hobby, and this has been largely thanks to the Picture-a-Day project that I joined in August 2003.
