The weakness of my material is quite challenging... Never forget: it's not your camera doing the shot: it's you.
My first camera, Konica Minolta Dimage Z10... keeps on working after over a million shots. Very handy and cute, it really was worth the price I payed for...
My Fuji S 9600 works well too, except the terrible noise in higher ISO ranges.
News: got a Canon 40D on Feb 12 2008..wait and see...lol
