These photographs were taken at the Golden Spike Historic Site at Promontory Point, Utah on September 11, 2010.
On May 10,1869 two railroads (the Union Pacific and Central Pacific) joined to form the first transcontinental railroad. This event occured at Promontory Point to the Northwest of Salt Lake City. On the day I was there they ran a reenactment of the events of May 10, 1869. This provided opportunity to take some photography. About eight of my images were run through various old film plugins in Photoshop. Three images were taken with a fisheye lens and that provided a bit of fun. Please enjoy the photos.
All photographs were taken with a Canon T1i with various L lenses and a Peleng fisheye.
