The mosque is of an unknown date. I confess I entered it mainly because I was looking for a good vantage point to take pictures of the Zal Mahmud mosque, which was closed for restoration. It is a small mosque, special in that it has alternating layers of white and coloured stone (oh well, the Zal Mahmud has them too), and that its minaret is not attached to the main building, it also has no balcony for the muezzin, who instead could call from a nice hexagonal lantern at its top. It is built against the side of a hill, that is probably the reason why one first has to climb a flight of stairs.
