One of my great favorites because of its setting, its style and because, in the '90's at least, it used to be an oasis of quietness in a busy district. I would stroll here in the evening and be alone, not lonely.
Founded by Mustafa III, built 1759-1763, design by Mehmet Tahir Aga, "greatest and most original of the Turkish baroque architects" (I quote Strolling through Istanbul, Redhouse Press, 1989 - an excellent book).
