I must have many more pictures of this mosque, built in 1854 on the site of an earlier mosque by Sultan Abdül Mecit, by architect Nikogos Balyan, who also built the Dolmabahce palace. I vividly remember taking them. For the time being I can only show some shots from the Bosporus, passing by.
