On the web a Turkish site has information, condensed by me as: The Kara Davud Pasha Mosque was built by Davud Pasha, known as the Black Sniper, during the Bayezid period. The text next explains Davud Pasha’s are found in writings at the time, that however seem to be one and the same. The Davud Pasha Mosque fell into a dilapidated state at the beginning of the last century. It has been repaire and changed ever since. The most important of these is the removal of the wooden roof and ceiling covering the middle space and making a dome here. Until the repair in the 1960s, the central space was covered with a diagonal wooden ceiling and a tiled roof. In the courtyard of the mosque, there was the tomb of Alemdar Ahmed Baba, who died at the beginning of Ramadan 1091 (September 1680). Today, this tomb is located on the sidewalk.
