great photo! I see "her" all the time (you realise this is not an old woman, just someone a lot younger, possibly even a boy, posing as a beggar in the streets of Athens...). That's why they (there are a few of them) are very careful not to reveal any parts of their face or body... Though, check "her" hands!

The lines of the pavement and the shadow all pull your eye in to this picture. And the hand open and pleading, keeps your eyes there.
