Wanda and I spent a little time out on a nearby marsh. The American White Pelicans have returned for the Summer. It was bitter cold, windy and spitting rain off and on but we still had a great time watching the pelicans fish for spawning carp in the shallows. This carp looked to be much more than a mouthful. The carp did get away as the three pelicans fought over it.
