Scientific name: Leiothrix lutea (Scopoli, 1786). Also, called 'Red-billed Robin'.

In the Genus Leiothrix there are only two species, the Pekin Robin (L. lutea), and the Silver-eared Mesia (L. argentauris).

Distribution: Himalayas to China. Behaves much as other babblers, hunting through foliage or rumaging about in the debris on the forest floor for insects, usually in small parties.
It makes a variety of harsh, piping call-notes.
