You'll be most welcome, Joshua! — db.

I hope to make that happen!

That's logical, Joshua: When you spend only a few months somewhere—as we have done in NYC since January this year—you walk around with a curiosity those who have lived here all their lives (or, at least, for decades) don't share anymore. Come and see us in Madrid: I'm sure you'll see things there we don't—as you say—"have an eye for" any longer... Thanks for your kind words! — db.

Terrific! I have lived in New York for 25 years and not had an eye for half of what you have found here.

Thanks, Traveller and Michael, for your kind remarks! I sure am glad, finally someone agrees with my assessment on my images looking much better at their *original* size. (BTW: If you compare between pbase's "original" and "large" settings, a closer look at the signature is what will most clearly show you the harm the downgrading from the former to the latter does to the picture!) — db.

Very powerful image, and it does look better at the original size. Regards, Michael

Might be, Paul, but I doubt it: there were some camera-people when I went to take this picture of the building ("The Bloomberg Tower"). I am quite sure, though, they were TV *journalists* (working on a news item, not recording a *show*) and that those flood-lights hang—for what purpose soever—*always* in this (open to the street and publicly accessible) sort of patio. Anyway: In this courtyard you find the entrance to a well-known luxury restaurant which I imagine attracts "celebrities". — db.

Are those production style of video lights? Like if they were producing a show in this location? Paul

Glad you like it, shu. You must have been the first person to see it: I took it yesterday... Thanks for your "fast" and friendly comment. — db.
