Designed by architect, Mary Jane Coulter, the Desert View Watchtower is spectacular and considered her masterpiece. She designed several structures in Grand Canyon for Fred Harvey Houses. This structure was built in 1932 and many of the beautiful drawings on the walls were done by famed Hopi Artist, Fred Kabotie (1900-1986).
