Moving down the historic Bright Angel Trail, I had to step aside for the mules to pass by. It's a pretty steep descent but the mules (from Tennessee) are sure-footed and trustworthy.
Teddy Roosevelt is the only U.S. president to take this mule ride down to the bottom of the Canyon.
