Manali

From McLeod Ganj I travelled by overnight bus to Manali, in the Kullu Valley. We had a blow out on the way, so the 10-hour journey took a little longer, but we arrived at a more reasonable time to find accommodation, so it all worked out. My first impressions of the Kullu Valley, as I looked out of the bus window early in the morning, were ones of stunned disbelief at the cannabis plants growing all along the side of the road!

More pics to come - but I've run out of time - going to lose my Internet connection for a week or so from tomorrow - off to the Spiti Valley - can't wait to check out the scenery there!
