After our houseboat experience the next destination on our itinerary was Kochi (AKA Cochin). I first visited in December of 2005 (pics here. It was much cooler at that time of year - the temperatures this time round were in the high 30s even late at night, which doesn't sound too bad - but believe me when you add high humidity it's not so pleasant.
