In July 2010 I travelled to the stark and stunning Spiti Valley from Manali. I stayed in the little town of Kaza, and visited a few places of interest nearby, leaving via the Tabo to Rekong Peo Highway, entering the Kinnaur Valley.

I very much enjoyed my stay in this remote region of Himachal Pradesh, but the highlight for me was the jeep ride into the Spiti Valley.
