Puntarenas, Costa Rica

Puntarenas is a city of about 100,000 on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast.
It is somewhat deteriorating as the commercial port was recently moved out of the city.
We scheduled a tour to see the Poas Volcano which is still active and has the largest craters in the area.
After a 3 hour drive, we found it shrouded in clouds.
