Stanely, Falkland Islands

Our impression of the Falkland Islands is that they are rugged, treeless, grassy, cold and very British,
much to the chagrin of Argentines where the islands are called the Malvinas.
Our guide was a veteran of the 1982 war so we saw lots of battlefields.
We drove around Stanley and the immediate area, but had to cut our visit short.
A storm was approaching and as a tendered port, I didn’t want to be getting out of a tender in rough waves.
