Montevideo, Uruguay

Montevideo, in my opinion, is a city of contrasts.
On almost every block one can see an old “derelict” building immediately next to a new very modern building.
With our ex-pat English guide we toured the old part of the city complete with a flea market and old cathedral.
We visited the central plaza surrounded by government buildings, and drove up the coast to the newer and more upscale areas of the city.
Again my goal was to photograph the people of the city.
