The big day was finally here. There were an astonishing number of wrecks during the race (considering that it's Formula 1, and these guys generally know what they're doing). I think only 7 drivers finished the race, out of 17 or so who qualified.

To everyone's surprise, Kimi Raikkonen won the race. To absolutely no one's surprise, Michael Schumacher (who came in second) secured the 2004 manufacturer's championship for Ferrari, and the driver's championship for himself (for the seventh time).
