Krakow is a beautiful historic town that appears to be untouched by the ravages of past wars. The market square is one of the biggest squares in Europe and has many passageways and interesting streets leading from it. Wandering the streets at night and looking into cosy bistos and cafes was incredibly enjoyable - as was walking the many avenues and walkways lit up with magical lanterns. With snow, a biting wind and temperatures of minus five degrees, taking photos was a challenge, but one worth doing. Hopefully these few photos will give a small flavour of this beautiful town over a 3 day visit. Finally, please excuse the 'mono' sections but I wanted to enhance the contrast between the cold weather and the warm feel of the city.
