Back to Normal

We're just about back to normal again. We were away in England for my mother-in-law's 80th birthday. There was a big gathering of the clan for what proved a most enjoyable weekend, with lots of late nights and a surprise party. She's the most youthful 80 year oldI know, not just in appearance but also in her outlook and attitude to life.
We left Fudge in kennels when we were away. He was sick for a few days after we got him back, not sure if he picked up a bug or ate something that disagreed with him when, with Toffee's assistance, he raided the kitchen bin. A trip to the vet and he's now back to normal thankfully.
Back home this week I have found it hard to get back into the habit of PADing - a busy time at work and dull weather has left me with
photographer' s block.

Glad that Fudge is doing well. This photo of him shows the beautiful reddish color in on his head very well. I hope things get back to normal for you as well.

Poor puppy. I know both you and he are happy to be home. Lovely pet portrait. V.

So nice to see you back again. And nice to hear you were just visiting and not abducted by space aliens!

I was wondering where you had got to all right.
Glad to hear you had a nice break.
Also nice to see Fudge is back to normal, probably doing a bit of fretting.
He looks to be in fine fettle.
great shot.

pensive yet perspicacious...Fudge seems to indicate a survival mode for the winter....press on, hope for the best, and prepare for the worst...staying stalwart is the key...V

Labs will eat anything; "heads of stone, hearts of gold, stomachs of iron".
Welcome back to the PAD world. (Says he who's 2 days behind with his postings and commentings...)

He is looking a bit sober, but I am very relieved to hear he is back to normal.

Glad to hear he's well, he's had his ups and downs recently.

Good to hear he is OK. My lab Töpseli ate (amongst other things) ratpoison, twice! And a can of mackerel. Including the actual can. And it came out the "natural way" two days after...

He's a handsome boy
