Dramatic rainbows are the upside of the showery weather which we have been having lately. There was a perfect double rainbow arched over town as I drove from work this evening. I thought I might have had time to drive down to the harbour to get a shot of it over the mountains, but it faded as I walked from the car. Then, after I had done my grocery shopping, an even more impressive one appeared as I drove home. 'Quick, grab the camera,' I instructed my son. 'Take off the cap' I ordered as he pointed it out the windscreen. He took a series of pics and this one does justice to what was the best rainbow I've ever seen. We even drove past the end but didn't see a crock of gold.
