Toffee has different spots of the house where he can be found at different
times of the day. They change too during the year, depending on how much
sunshine we're getting.
In the winter, he can be found sleeping on our son's bed at night, glad of
the extra warmth, although in the summer, he moves round the house to
his favourite sleeping spots. The cushion on the wooden box in front of the
kitchen window is a firm favourite - it benefits from the heat of the sun
in summer and the warmth of a radiator in winter. The fish tank is another
prime location thanks to the heat from light below the lid. On sunny days
he follows beams of sunlight, sometimes sitting on this rug in the passageway
upstairs or on a chair which catches the late afternoon sun. And if he gets
too hot, he simply gets up and moves to the shade.
