When we got Toffee as a kitten two years ago we knew he'd have
to be an indoor cat. Although we live in the countryside, a busy
road runs past our house and many cats perished under the
wheels of passing traffic in the past. I think he's mostly happy with
his life, but sometimes he peeps round the front door, as if
wondering what life might be like if he were allowed outside.
