Black-etched prominent (Cerura scitiscripta), #7942

Larose Forest

Found this beauty on a willow tree. Despite its lime green colour it really blends in with the leaves (I'll post another photo later to show just how well it does). The only reason I noticed it is because I noticed a dead tip of a leaf moving and there was no breeze. So I looked very closely and finally saw this guy! As an adult (moth) it is also spectacular with a beautiful black and white pattern.
