Black-etched prominent (Cerura scitiscripta), #7942

Burnt Lands Provincial Park. I thought this was a Furcula sp. at first, but then by dint of searching, discovered it is really a black-etched prominent caterpillar. This instar is very different from the later instars, which are really quite spectacular (see next shot). What look like long horns are really 'legs' on the rear end. The head is at opposite end.
