A fragment of a poem by the Tang Dynasty poet, Du Shenyan, translated by Peter Harris (Three hundred Tang Poems, 2009). As always, a sense of yearning for something out of reach.
Image and poem are searingly beautiful. A glowing orange breast and an ebony black head fashion an image lovely to behold surrounded by the water droplet leaves.
