Dylan Thomas' enchanting poem, "A Child's Christmas in Wales", evokes memories of my own childhood Christmases in the Welsh border country (and other parts of England). And the snow that sometimes came seemed to make Christmas, as Thomas says, "white as Lapland". I read this poem every single Christmas and it takes me right back to childhood with its evocative imagery.
