The Crossroads

West Virginia

This is the entrance to Princeton, WV. The streets have names but it is known as "the crossroads" as in "make a left at the crossroads."

There's an earthy urbanity to this one given the sign, the buildings that were built for function rather than form or beauty, and the roadway implied by the street sign.
